    Weather Modification History was created to inform the public of the extensive history of weather modification experiments. Our goal is to increase public awareness and debate about the moral and legal implications of today's multi-billion dollar weather control industry and the coming global governance of sunlight-blocking geoengineering schemes. Addition of a few particles that act as ice nuclei can cause ice particles to grow at the expense of supercooled water droplets, resulting in particles large enough to fall as precipitation. An example of this is commercial cloud seeding, with silver iodide particles released from aircraft to induce rain.

      Cloud seeding has been around for over 60 years now and the results are mixed. It involves spraying silver iodide into the clouds. The silver iodide provides nuclei for the moisture to become water droplets and rainfall occurs. The major varia.
